8 of the September is a great time to visit Solin. While the celebration of the SOLIN TOWN DAY includes entertainment, sports events and a traditional fair, this day is also known as the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (MALA GOSPA).
Visit Solin and enjoy a relaxing walk along the river, try some of the culinary delights, or just treat yourself with something from the fair, ... Did we mention that there is a big entertainment park for kids only two minutes away on foot?
With many religious events held during the day, Solin also becomes the place where pilgrims gather along the Jadro River to thank the Blessed Virgin Mary for her advocacy and to pray for their loved ones.

The feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Traditionally, on the September 8, at 10:00 am, a grand procession through the town center, the Mass and the procession will be led by Msgr. Marin Barišić.

Confession is possible during the day from 6:00 till 13:00 and from 15:30 till 20:00.
